Perhaps you didn’t realise that feelings of food addiction, yo-yo dieting, weight cycling, binge eating, emotional eating and many other stressful behaviours and outcomes were related to body image. Not only that but financial health, poor relationship choices, drug abuse, eating disorders and suicide are also attributed to negative self-perception.

I’m Michelle, I’ve been working with women to help improve their health by improving their relationship with food for 10 years now. I’ve come to realise though, that in order to help people improve both those things, we need to work on body image.


I’m so passionate about stopping this cycle in it’s tracks that every jperson that signs up will also get a separate login for a teenager in their life that might also like to empower themselves

Why Brave Bodies?


I created Bodies for myself ultimately.


I thought back to when I was a little girl and I was teased and neglected by peers because of the way I looked. and how because of this, I spent most of my life battling with my body and lack of self-worth and did every diet you can possibly imagine in the hopes of becoming or staying slim so that I could 'fit in'.


So, Brave Bodies is everything I needed and have worked on to improve my own body image and I'm hoping that I can empower parents and their daughters or sons as well so that fewer and fewer children experience the heavy burden of body shame and weight stigma by giving the adults in their lives the tools to begin to work on theirs.
